Who
is LUGADA?
Lucy Gonzaga AIDS & Development Action (LUGADA) is an
umbrella
community based organization that brings together 7
Community
Projects in Nyendo–Masaka District, Uganda. The
organization was
founded in 1993 by a group of Ugandan’s based in
Masaka Nyendo,
working in collaboration with Coalition on
International AIDS and
Development (CIDA) a Saskatchewan, Canada based
international
development group. LUGADA brings together the
following community
organization.

LUGADA identifies students associated with the member
Organizations with a career vision and
commitment to build and support their
Community in the future. This project supports LUGADA Youth
through
a three way partnership arrangement:

The Board committee oversees and coordinates and provides
feedback to sponsors.
þ
A sponsor willing to provide tuition and related
educational expenses for secondary and or post secondary education.
þ
A family and or the community committed to provide on-going
support and general living costs.

Payments are made directly to the Educational Institution.
Individual
sponsorship is great and donations of any amount are
appreciated to
support youth top up.
